Grade 10 math practice
A new set whenever you’re ready. Pick a grade and a skill, work it out, then see the thinking behind each answer.
These are selected skills using common US-style grade groupings, not a complete curriculum or placement test. School sequences vary. Choose the level that fits your learner.

Will I get different questions each time?
Yes. Generate a fresh set to get new number combinations. A shared link reproduces the same questions. These use defined mathematical rules, not an AI chatbot.
Can I use equivalent fractions?
Yes. For example, 2/4 and 1/2 are both accepted for one half. Use a fraction for repeating decimals. Enter mixed numbers as 1 1/2.
Are answers or progress saved?
No. Answers stay in this page session and are not sent to a teacher. Refreshing or generating a new set clears your work. Shared links include only the question settings, never answers or learner details.
What will print?
The current questions print as a blank worksheet, with an answer key on a separate page. You can also choose Save as PDF in your print dialog.
Answer key
1. 14
Factor: (x − 2)(x − 14) = 0. The solutions are 2 and 14; the larger is 14.
2. 85
Term n = first term + (n − 1) × difference. 15 + (8 − 1) × 10 = 85.
3. 16/121
With replacement the draws are independent. P(red twice) = 4/11 × 4/11 = 16/121.
4. 14
Factor: (x − 1)(x − 14) = 0. The solutions are 1 and 14; the larger is 14.
5. 67
Term n = first term + (n − 1) × difference. 10 + (20 − 1) × 3 = 67.
6. 9/121
With replacement the draws are independent. P(red twice) = 3/11 × 3/11 = 9/121.
7. 27
Factor: (x − 15)(x − 27) = 0. The solutions are 15 and 27; the larger is 27.
8. 37
Term n = first term + (n − 1) × difference. 2 + (8 − 1) × 5 = 37.
9. 36/169
With replacement the draws are independent. P(red twice) = 6/13 × 6/13 = 36/169.
10. 22
Factor: (x − 12)(x − 22) = 0. The solutions are 12 and 22; the larger is 22.
